Personal Energy Management©

Personal energy is your power to make things happen, to get the results you want in life. Personal Energy Management© is a program to assist you in developing an awareness of personal energy and the skills to manage it.

Personal Energy Management sessions have been taught to a wide variety of participants including:

  • Staff working to provide emergency shelter, short-term housing and supportive services for homeless youth
  • Leadership and staff providing inpatient care for mental health and chemical addiction
  • Individuals in recovery
  • Individuals dealing with acute and chronic health care conditions

    Everything is energy including you. You are constantly directing your energy and reacting to the energy of others. Through class experience and discussion, you get in touch with your power. Developing awareness and skills to direct and manage your reaction to energy can help you create the results you want in your life.

Mapping Your Energy©

Energy is the power to make things happen in relationships, home, work, play and communities. Your core is your power base of energy. Energy aligned with your core creates greater joy, meaning and satisfaction with life. An energy map provides a big picture view of how you invest your energy in alignment with core attributes.

After this class, you will be able to:

  • Describe your core attributes
  • Describe your personal vision
  • Identify how you invest energy to create your personal vision

Understanding Personal Boundaries©

Personal energy is your power to make things happen. Understanding and establishing personal boundaries empowers you to invest energy in those areas of your life that you can control. Investing energy in what you can control eliminates or reduces unnecessary energy drain allowing you more energy to create results you want. Through class discussion and experiences, participants discover energetic boundaries and learn skills to manage them.

After this class, you will be able to:

  • Discuss the relationship between personal boundaries and energy management
  • Describe experience of setting and moving boundaries in relation to another person
  • Discuss / use keys to manage personal boundaries

    Dealing with Stress©

    Everyone talks about stress and the need to manage it. But few of us are taught how stress works, how ongoing stress becomes habitual and how to deal with it. Develop a basic understanding of stress and learn simple energy skills to manage it.

    After this class, you will be able to:

    • Describe stress as an interruption to flow, balance and connection to personal energy
    • Describe stress reactions (fight / flight / freeze)
    • Identify personal signs and symptoms of stress on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels
    • Discuss / use keys to manage stress reactions

Energy Body Mapping©

    Your energy is your power and is held in the human energy field. The human energy field has physical, emotional, mental and spiritual layers. Energy centers on the body (chakras) are the entry points to these layers. Learning to work with your energy centers by mapping them to what your body is telling you can be the catalyst to empowerment and restoring health.

    After this class, you will be able to:

    • Describe the human energy field
    • Experience your personal energy field by connecting to your essence, hara line, and energy centers (chakras)
    • Identify what you can do to support your personal energy field

    Energym©

    Energy is the power to make things happen. Learning techniques to manage energy to get the results you want can be fun. Energym is a game where the participants learn techniques to manage anxiety, decrease stress and become more mindful of how they manage their energy.

    After this class, you will be able to:

    • Demonstrate skills to manage anxiety, decrease stress and charge energy

    The Power of OOPS©

    In any moment, you are directing energy and reacting to the energy that is directed at you. OOPS moments are those moments when you realize you made a mistake or did not get the result you wanted. These OOPS moments are golden opportunities to learn about how you directed and reacted to energy that was directed at you. Using “OOPS” moments to learn about your energy enables you to make different choices to avoid or better manage similar moments in the future.


    After this class, you will be able to:

    • Identify energy patterns behind situations in your life
    • Describe energy strategies to manage situations with unexpected or undesirable results
    • Demonstrate skills to manage personal energy
